AUTO-ANTENNA-SWITCHIf the transmitting antenna experiences a fault due to electronic devices or metal interference, it automatically switches to the other antenna.
AUTO-SEARCH-TO-SENDThis function automatically switches the PIEPS DSP SPORT from search mode to transmit mode, if the beacon is not moving for a certain time (in case of burial).
iPROBE SUPPORTThe PIEPS DSP SPORT can be temporarily deactivated using the smart iPROBE. The receiving beacon automatically receives the next strongest signal.

The beacon’s Bluetooth connection allows you to manage settings, software updates and battery optimization from your smartphone via the PIEPS mobile app, while the housing features soft-touch contact points for improved handling. In addition, it has a massive 60-meter circular range and 60-meter search strip. Throw in a self-check function for always-accurate antennas and Digital Signal Processing to account for wayward beacon signals, and the Guide BT is as reliable as it is capable. The included harness-style carrying pouch provides comfortable, streamlined storage and fast removal for beacon practice and emergency response.

It offers users a large, simple interface and intuitive operation. The Smart Search function provides clear instructions thanks to a simple operating concept and quick, precise searching. The Barryvox® S includes the Rescue SEND function to protect non-searching rescuers. In the event of a secondary avalanche, the device automatically switches to SEND in order to locate buried rescuers.
